Dr. Amarendra Samal, MBBS, MD (AIIMS, New Delhi) is the Managing Director of Nirvana Eye Hospital, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Dr. Samal completed his MD in Ophthalmology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Thereafter, Dr. Samal received extensive ophthalmic subspecialty training in major hospitals. His specific areas of practice are complex cataract procedures, glaucoma management, and corneal surgeries. With experience of more than 35,000 phaco operations, LASIK, glaucoma operations, and corneal transplantations, Dr. Samal also has a strong interest in retina treatments and laser therapies.
